Delete Your Account

Money Mumma respects your right to control your personal data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly from the app at any time by following the steps below.
How to Delete Your Account
Open the Money Mumma app
Launch the Money Mumma app on your device. If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
Log in to your account
Sign in with the Google or Apple account you used when you created your Money Mumma account.
Tap your profile icon
Tap the profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen to open your profile settings.
Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete Account"
Scroll down to the bottom of the profile screen. Tap the "Delete Account" button and confirm the deletion when prompted.
Data That Will Be Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from our systems:
- Your account profile (name, email address, and authentication credentials)
- Your saved Money Wins and completion history
- Your savings tracking data and notes
- Your community-shared content and submissions
- Your app preferences and settings
- Any blocked user lists
Data That May Be Retained
After account deletion, the following data may be retained for the reasons described:
- Subscription and transaction records — Purchase history managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) is retained by those platforms in accordance with their own policies. Money Mumma does not have the ability to delete records held by Apple or Google. You can manage these directly through your Apple ID or Google account settings.
- Anonymised analytics data — Aggregated, non-personally-identifiable usage data (e.g. screen views, interaction counts) may be retained for product improvement purposes. This data cannot be linked back to your account after deletion.
- Legal obligations — We may retain limited data if required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process (e.g. fraud prevention or financial reporting obligations). Any such data is retained for no longer than required and is securely deleted afterwards.
Deletion Timeline
Account deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation. Your data will be permanently removed from our active systems right away. Residual copies in our encrypted backups may take up to 30 days to be fully purged.
Active Subscriptions
Deleting your Money Mumma account does not automatically cancel any active subscriptions. To avoid being charged, please cancel your subscription through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store before deleting your account.
